The fast experience of the city - the beginning

Reflecting about the city of the 21st century is to think how architecture and the new digital mediums are being more and more connected. The discussion begins between architects. Where they try to question, so to define, if digital architecture is related only to process, as a tool, or if it’s a new theory that changes not only the process but also the final result.
As the new digital mediums and tools allow to create and visualize all kind of infrastructures everywhere, the boarders between what is already constructed and what remains a dream turn to disappear.
What is the function of such kind of digital projects in our society? Are they useful only to show our capacity to create? Or can they be considered a challenge to technology?
The answer of technology to this projects is really fast, so what was before a utopian project, is already something physical.
In a fragmentary society aren’t the solid and opaque walls barriers to the fast experience of a city?
